So I'm supposed to be on bedrest. But yesterday we had to take baby to the pediatrician office and then we had to take her to the lactation consultant and then Andy's family visited for a family dinner.

I started crying today because someone asked me how I was doing. I started with my usual snarky response or blowing them off. And then she persisted so I actually told her how I felt. Then I started crying.

And Andy waved the pictures of bunnies that he drew for me. "Look at these bunnies! Look at these bunnies!" And it made me smile.

Had my midwife visit yesterday. My bp was 140/90 which is pre-e level. However she took it while I was lying down and it was 108/64. So she just wants me to take it easy.

3.5 cm dilated, 80% effaced. Baby is still in station -2.

My mood goes from resignation and zen like to frustration and crying.

Just been feeling sad since Thursday. Stressed and sad. Nothing too major but non trivial either.

Yeah it's pregnancy related. It's just hard. Those women that prance around saying how happy they are to be pregnant are irritating, though not that many. There are moments when I feel that way, but mostly this far along I just am counting the weeks ( Read more... )

Started at 10 am prepping food, cracking a million eggs and cutting potatoes and then serving food to about 370 people at the downtown community kitchen. I will post more about that later.

Then did some photo editing.. I'm all caught up with my 2013 weddings woohoo!

We spent the first half of our trip in La Fortuna, which is where the volcano and wedding is. The first night was at a cheap hostel and then we moved into a real nice place with waterfall showers and heated pool. The wedding itself was very fun and amazing. Gorgeous.
